Some generating units in the use of the process, will appear the phenomenon of oil consumption is too fast, but do not know which parts to deal with, for this, we can refer to some content.

When excessive oil consumption is found, it is necessary to first check whether there is oil leakage at the joints between the engine block and the gear housing cover, the large plate on one side of the traveling wheel, the rear cover and the cover cover. In case of oil leakage, pay attention to observe whether the sealing gasket of each connection part is complete, and the damaged sealing gasket of generator set shall be replaced. If the gasket is complete, check whether the connecting screws of each part are loose. Use a wrench to tighten the loose bolts to the specified torque. If the above parts are basically normal, and the oil leakage is in the frame position, the oil shell shall be inspected. The main inspection part is at the front end of the oil shell side on the same side with the traveling wheel. The generator set is mostly due to the looseness of the frame screw, and the traveling wheel rubs with the angle iron of the frame protecting the oil shell under the pulling of the triangular belt, which causes oil leakage.

2.The normal wear caused by long-term use of the engine or abnormal wear caused by improper maintenance will make the cylinder liner of the diesel engine form longitudinal tensile marks, and the cylinder diameter and piston side clearance exceed the specified values, which will reduce the supporting force of the piston ring and cause the phenomenon of dirty oil scraping. Or because the inner support torsion spring in the oil ring is disconnected at the opening position of the oil ring, the scraping oil is not clean and participates in combustion, resulting in serious oil consumption symptoms, such as difficult starting of diesel engine, obvious blue smoke from exhaust pipe, and serious oil injection of respirator. Moreover, when the piston is supposed to be upward, the combustion chamber will be inverted due to the inversion of the direction during assembly. Although it will not affect the starting of the diesel engine, the oil consumption will be very serious. The fuel consumption is about 0.5 kg per day.
