Uneven fuel supply of injection pump of diesel generator

In generally, uneven delivery fuel of diesel generator set maybe cause diesel engine high fuel consumption or failure. At this time, we should find out the reasons and adjust fuel injection pump.   What Cause Uneven Delivery Fuel of Diesel Generator Set? 1.Mechanical failure After a long-term use of genset, due to the loose shaft coupling or large clearance of fuel injection pump, the wear of driving gear and the increase of side clearance will also affect the fuel supply uneven of each cylinder. In addition, the fuel leakage caused by high pressure oil pipe joint due to frequent vibration or insufficient tightening, as well as excessive tightening force will lead to uneven fuel supply of each cylinder. In addition, among the springs of   fuel injection pump   and governor, the piston spring with strong force, large deformation and high working frequency is the plunger spring. Therefore, the fracture frequency is higher. In light cases, the fuel injection quantity is redu...

Typical fault codes of power generating set genset

This article is mainly about dealing with typical fault codes of diesel generator set, hope it is helpful to you. 1.Fault code 131,132 131: No. 1 accelerator pedal or lever position sensor circuit, voltage above normal value or short circuit to high voltage source. 132: No. 1 accelerator pedal or lever position sensor circuit, voltage under normal value or short circuit to low voltage source. (1)Fault phenomenon The voltage on accelerator pedal position sensor 1 circuit is high(fault code 131) or low ( fault code   132). (2)Circuit description The throttle position sensor is a Hall effect sensor connected to the accelerator pedal, the signal voltage from the throttle position sensor to the ECM will change when the accelerator pedal is depressed or released. When the accelerator pedal is at 0, the ECM will receive a low voltage signal; When the accelerator pedal is at 100%, the ECM will receive a high voltage signal. The accelerator pedal position circuit includes 5V ...

Leroy-Somer Alternator R150 AVR of Generator Set

1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is a compact, high performance encapsulated unit. The AVR incorporates latest technology and efficient semiconductor to achieve a high degree of miniaturization when applied to 3Ø and 1Ø AC brushless generator within its input and output limits, the unit offers excellent reliability. The AVR supplies DC excitation to the exciter field of a   brushless generator   to keep the terminal voltage within close limits from NO-LOAD to FULL LOAD. The recovery time on sudden loading is likely to be around 0.5 sec. to recover 98% of the rated voltage. Please note that the transient performance like voltage dip and recovery time are mainly decided by the generator and exciter design parameters. Best performance from the regulator can be obtained by keeping full load excitation around 60V DC. The generator employs true average sensing circuit, dV/dt snubber and special filters circuits to cope with NON-LINEAR loading li...
