This 250kva Volvo engine diesel generator is housed in a soundproof generator enclosure which muffles the sound and protects the generator from all weathers, fire protection, humidity & dusty. It can be installed outdoor or indoor and the noise level is 75 dB at 7 meters. The silent diesel generator is suitable for powering homes, hospitals, schools, and other industrial sites.


The genset is equipped with a 400A Schneider automatic transfer switch (ATS), which has the ability to switch the diesel generator on when there is a loss of power, and once the regular power supply comes back, it turns off. The bottom fuel tank has a capacity of 500L, which can meet the client’s specific needs.


New diesel generator operation guide


Nowadays, modern diesel generators have significantly corrected many problems of traditional diesel generators with electronic control direct injection, common rail, turbocharging and intercooling technology. When you buy a new diesel generator, keep in mind that you should follow the user manual to operate the unit. Below are some rules of running diesel generators:


1. In the initial operation of 40 hours of a new diesel generator, its speed should be limited to 80% of the rated speed.


2. Diesel generators for construction machinery should operate under partial loads for the first 40 hours.


3. Follow the recommendations and instructions to perform daily generator maintenance. Check the oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, warning light and other instruments after using the new equipment to ensure their normal operation.


4 Add engine oil to the oil pan if it is without lubricating oil. If the cooling system is already filled with coolant, check the performance of the coolant. If it does not meet the requirements, you need to discharge it and then add the coolant that meets the standard.


5 When starting, separate the diesel generator from the drivetrain or put the transmission in neutral.


6. Turn the start button to start the diesel generator. In order to prevent damage to the starter and protect the batteries, the cold starting time should not exceed 30 seconds at each start, and the interval between two consecutive starts should be at least 2 minutes.


7. The reading of the oil pressure gauge should be displayed within 15 seconds of starting.


8. After a cold start of the diesel generator, increase the speed gradually to ensure that the bearing is fully lubricated and the oil pressure is maintained. Keep the generator idling for 3 to 5 minutes and then run it with loads.
