Two 50kw Cummins Silent Diesel Generators Were Exported to Poland

 On September 3, 2024, Dingbo Power scheduled the production of 2 units of prime power 50kw diesel generators for a client from Poland. The two diesel generator sets have identical configurations. They are powered by DCEC Cummins engines, which deliver reliable power and low emissions, ideal for Stationary, Prime and Standby applications.

These 50kw diesel generating sets are powered by Cummins 4BTA3.9-G2 engines, which have a prime power of 58kw/73kva and standby power of 64kw/80kva at 1500RPM. They are coupled with Shanghai Stamford three-phase brushless alternators, which are known for high efficiency and stable reliability. Regardless of operating conditions, these alternators generate electricity consistently and efficiently, reducing not only energy consumption but also downtime and maintenance time. The genset controller is SmartGen HGM7220N model, which can realize functions of single unit self-start, AMF, synchronization changeover, and cloud monitoring.

The generator sets are housed in sound-attenuated enclosures and their noise levels can be reduced to 75dB at 7 meters. Their advantages include low cost, easy maintenance, and better cooling. Compared to silent diesel generators, they produce higher noise, which makes them unsuitable for urban areas. They are generally used in industrial plants, construction sites, field operations such as mining and oil fields and temporary emergency power supply in non-residential areas.

 

Silent/soundproof diesel generators

 

Silent diesel generators are enclosed in noise-reducing enclosures (sound-absorbing materials, baffles), with noise levels from 60 to 75 dB(A). Compared to open type diesel generators, they have a higher cost and reduced cooling efficiency. This type of generators comply with urban noise regulations and they are ideal for data centers, hospitals, schools, hotels and other sensitive areas.
