On the afternoon of September 6, the signing ceremony on the strategic cooperation of methanol dual-fuel ship and press conference kicked off by Yuchai Group and Jianglong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Jianglong Shipbuilding), in Zhongshan, Guangdong province.
It is reported that the two sides would forge a strategic partnership, under the strategic cooperation agreement, and jointly build a platform of methanol dual-fuel to achieve win-win development, enhancing overall technical strength and market competitiveness and promoting R&D and industrialization of methanol dual-fuel ship for the purpose of greater technology and economic benefits.
As a domestic major shipbuilder in passenger boat sector, Jianglong Shipbuilding is specialized in manufacturing patrol boats, tourism leisure boats, which are made of steel, aluminum alloy, fiberglass and composite materials. Yuchai, as a domestic leading industrial conglomerate, its R&D and application experience expertise in new energy engine including internal combustion engine has brought in the most complete spectrum of products. The cooperation between the two companies will take the lead of technology of the clean new energy ship engine.
Recently, the final of 2017 China Truck Racing Championship was held in Guangdong International Circuit. The results were announced after three-day fierce competition, and it is commendable that the top three winners of domestic truck team are equipped with the 6K Engine developed by Y&C Engine Co., Ltd..
China Truck Racing Championship provides a stage for trucks to showcase their maximum speeds. The 6K Engine developed by Y&C boosted numerous trucks to win several awards this year, having a good harvest of “reputation + market”.
K12 Engine Boosts C&C Trucks to Win the Champion of 12L Vehicles Team
Two trucks of C&C Trucks, equipped with K12-480 Engines, attended the 2017 China Truck Racing Championship. The trucks of C&C Trucks have won six awards, and became Guangdong’s champion of 12L vehicles team, as well as the 2017 annual champion of 12L vehicles team, becoming the king of trucks with 12L engine capacity.
The trucks of C&C Trucks with 12L engine capacity made the most remarkable achievements during the racing. Many vehicles attending the racing are equipped with the engines with 13L engine capacity, while the trucks of C&C Trucks are equipped with 6K12 Series Engines with 12L engine capacity. Although the displacement of trucks of C&C Trucks is not as good as that of other trucks with 13L engine capacity, 6K Engine has proved itself through the remarkable results of C&C Trucks.
Since the trucks are in high speeds during the racing, engine plays an essential role in determining the winner. Chen Gangqun, Deputy General Manager of C&C Trucks Marketing Co., Ltd., introduced that the 6K Engine equipped by C&C Trucks featured more horsepower torque compared with other engines, which became a superiority of C&C Trucks during the racing.
The trucks of Chenglong Truck received a comprehensive test on their performances through the new mode of “mass-produced trucks VS professional modified trucks”. Equipped with the high-powered engine with 13L engine capacity, the trucks of Chenglong Truck were able to defeat their opponents easily through strong power output.
K13 Diesel Engine, developed by Y&C, is upgraded from K12 Engine and boasts its maximum power of 580HP. All special parts of K13 Diesel Engine are products of international brands, which has further enhanced the reliability and durability of the engine and created a cost-effective engine with lowest fuel consumption of 184g/kW·h in universal characteristic curve. Zhang Lianjun, Senior Engineer of Y&C Technology Center, introduced that K13 Diesel Engine was able to automatically adjust to corresponding engine outer curve based on different roads and loads to achieve intelligent fuel saving. It is also able to provide the torque exceeding the engine outer curve within a certain time to meet the requirement of uphill. By virtue of the characteristic of protecting drivers and passengers, it will prevent the vehicle from starting if the doors are not closed properly, and limit the maximum speed of vehicle by sending out a signal to ECU through CAN, realizing the goal of “intelligent engine”.
Y&C Achieves Annual Sales Target during 2017 China Truck Racing Championship

It shows that Y&C has completed its annual sales target. K13N has become the new growth point of Y&C by virtue of its excellent performance, and the sales volume of K13N has achieved 4,028.
